How does Motorstats pick a data manager?

Our first preference is to work directly with a track or sanctioning body. If they are not interested, we will select the candidate which has the best ability to manage the data in a timely fashion. We will always require a confirmation from the track or sanctioning body that they are not interested (we are not here to make enemies).

How the process works

• Tracks or Touring Divisions can sign up immediately.
• Other race data management sign ups are put on a 2 week waiting period.
• During this waiting period, other individuals can also request to manage the race results.
• Motorstats will select the data manager we think has the best ability to manage the race results in a timely fashion.

If you're not interested in managing your race results, we also offer another alternative. We will provide you with a general legal contract so you can hire a data manager (if someone is interested). The terms will be open for you to negotiate. We recommend season race tickets or something of similar value. This alternative provides you with better control over your Motorstats race results.
