Driver Facts

Bio

I am 17 years old, i started racing when I was 12 at a local go kart track. After my first run I was hooked to racing, the following year we got a used rage go kart from a local dealer. Within a month I finally had my first win, and more soon followed. I finished my second year as the 2nd place track champion in the jr. cage gold plate division. The following year I drove a crate super late model about 20 times, this was the first time I drove anything with more that 200hp. The next year I drove the same car again with the same engine but I also got to drive a former teammate's backup super late model a few times as well. This past 2011 season I drove my first full year in a super late model, my engine was a 525 crate LS3 corvette engine. Although it was small I managed to maintain 5th place in points for the UFO Championship Dirt Late Model Series. Four weeks before the end of the season we got a new car and a bigger engine to see how I would compete. After a few races I learned tons of things about setup and different driving techniques needed for the extra horse power. Unfortunately my 5th race with the new car started of great! I drove from 6th to fighting for the lead in a 8 lap heat race, my opponent and I were nose to nose crossing the finish line, however he got the checkered flag, I was still determined to prove that I was a valid competitor in the feature though. On the first lap of the feature I started 4th, coming out of turn 2 I was fighting for 3rd, sadly my engine blew up before turn 3... I was devastated because I had one more series race that was going to be held in two weeks. Fortunately our current engine builder, Vick Hill heard about what happened and offered us an engine to buy so we could finish the year and the UFO series. I finished my rookie year as 5th place UFO Champion!!!

Hobbies

My hobbies are working on the race car, printing vinyl, building bodies for race cars, hunting, fishing, bike riding, and going on quad rides.

Racing Goals

My goal is to be a full time super dirt late model driver and race with the World of Outlaws or the Lucas Oil series, my dream however is to make it to NASCAR because I personally believe that if you make it to NASCAR, you are the best of the best at racing.
