Thunder Mountain Speedway

Thunder Mountain Speedway management is extremely excited to announce its' new sanction affiliation with DIRTCAR UMP for the 2012 race season. The sanctioning body will represent two existing classes at Thunder Mountain with the Pure Stock division, and the 4 cylinder Sport Compact division, as well as a new UMP Modified division joining weekly Friday night racing. The new Open Wheel UMP Modified division will be the first sanction of this type in New York State, allowing competitors to battle for state championship honors as well as regional and national honors. Lots of point money and contingencies will be available to competitors making it very worthwhile for current Open Wheel Modified competitors to consider joining the weekly division.
